This week,I learnt corpus again by my teacher. My teacher taught me build corpus and she gave students chose title interesting which I chose Iced tea to build corpus. Then,teacher taught me to copy the words or information on my computer   and she taught how to check words that I got into notepad. Finally, she taught me download the antconc program in order to showed how many words which I wanted 50,000 words.

                                       
                                       

 

This week, I've learnt outside the classroom. I've learnt about Linguistics and Language Teaching.
The lecturer is Dr.Budsaba Kanoksilapatham from Silpakorn University. Teacher taught about methods/pedagogy and linguistic competence. Then,I learnt about phonetics and phonology by teacher taught us how to produce the letter h for example think,thank,the.After that,teacher test students by give students stress 40 vocabulary such as,recycle,charecter,hippopotamus,etc.Moreover,i learnt about collocations,pragmatics,sociolinguistics and Lexical Semantics.finally,I recieve knowledge so much about phonetic that basic for English.

               This week, I learnt outside the classroom about Corpus Linguistics by Mr.Kriangkrai Vathanalaoha.
He taught our about corpus historical overview and types of corpora consist of

                  2.General E.g.Britist National corpus (BNC)

                  3.Multilingual corpus

                  4.Parallel corpus

                  5.Leanner corpus

                  6. historical or Diachronic corpus

                  7.Monitor corpus

    Moreover, He taught about processes in Corpus  Linguistics have frequencies,concordances called a keywords that often occur statistically more frequently in a corpus,when compared against another corpus and dispersion plots.Finally I can knowledge about corpus linguistics.
